We've finally started our master bath renovation that I blogged about back in October. I'm so excited to get this room finished, not only because the existing bathroom is outdated and awful, but because I have a list of projects I want to tackle after this one. I've been extremely motivated these past couple of weeks to just get STUFF done.
This weekend, we removed the old sink and sink cabinet from the bathroom along with the 25-year old vinyl floor. On schedule for the coming weekend is the removal of the toilet and the medicine cabinet (which includes an attached lighting fixture). We decided to leave the tub - it just wasn't something we feel ready to handle right now. It's that almondy beige color, but it's in good shape, so it's okay.
I don't have any pictures of the gutted bathroom to share just yet (but I will) but I did want to share with you my updated design board. I've changed the color scheme a bit since my first design board in October. This new one ties in much better with our master bedroom.
I've kept all the same furnishings but changed up the colors and accessories a bit. The wall paint is still Behr Castle Path, a lovely warm grey-taupe shade. The flooring shown is not quite what I've picked out, but very, very similar. Also, that coral glass tray? I adore that but the one I found is from Target.
The completed room is expected sometime in mid-February so stay tuned for pictures, a where to buy list, and the budget details!
