This winter we are planning on tackling our master bathroom. It won't be a complete renovation, but a mini one of sorts. I'm going for a light, calm, modern, spa-like feeling. The tub and toilet will remain in place, but we'll replace the sink and cabinet, tile the floor, add new lighting, paint the walls, and install a new medicine cabinet. We have a budget of less than $1000 and here's how I plan to accomplish this:
- Paint (1 gallon), Castle Path by Behr, $25 per gallon
- Ceramic Tile Flooring, Armstrong Ceramic Tile, $60
- Lillangen Medicine Cabinet with Shelf, $70
- Lillangen Sink with Cabinet and Legs, Ikea, $229
- Grundtal Faucet, Ikea, $90
- Limmaren Bathroom Set, Ikea, $10
- Leaf Print Shower Curtain, Target, $17
- Sugarloop Art Prints, Etsy, $20 each
- Ribba 8x10 Frames, Ikea, $5 each
- Vanity Lighting, Portfolio, $68
Grand Total: $644, plus grout and glue and all that boring stuff needed to make things work. Hmm, with that coming in so very low, I might have to consider replacing the tub and toilet too. Off to do some more research!
